Le Roc Ruelles : Une course VTT pour débuter les fêtes de Sorèze
Depuis maintenant 3 ans, les Fêtes de Sorèze, qui auront lieu, cette année, du 8 au 10 août, débutent par une course VTT, dans les ruelles de Sorèze : « le Roc Ruelles ». Cette manifestation sportive originale, organisée par le SOREZE VELO-CLUB, à l’initiative de Luc ALBERT, se déroulera ce vendredi 8 août, tout en précédant le traditionnel feu d’artifice.
Le concept de cette compétition cycliste, où plutôt VTTiste, est simple : une course à Vélo Tout Terrain (VTT) musculaire (les VTT électriques non autorisés), par équipe de 2, qui se passent le relais à chaque tour d’un circuit d’environ un kilomètre, sinueux à souhait, passant dans toutes les ruelles de Sorèze (y compris celles pavées).
L’épreuve débutera à 18h30, par 2 manches qualificatives pour la finale prévue à 21h, en semi-nocturne. L’an passé, cette course VTT extrêmement spectaculaire, remportée par le duo du magasin de cycles local, Luc ALBERT et François JARGUEL, a rassemblé de nombreux spectateurs (des habitants du village, mais aussi des passionnées de cyclisme). Tous les amateurs de VTT peuvent s’inscrire (15€ par duo) soit à l’avance, soit sur place, le jour de l’épreuve.
